For the last few months, GovLoop founder Steve Ressler and I have been bouncing ideas back and forth for a way to highlight public service. That brainstorming process crystallized over the last week as we launched (in collaboration with Steve Mandzik of 1H57) a new website called “I Am Public Service” to highlight and honor the heroic work of public sector employees.
