Peace Corps Connect – Web-Based Social Networking

Have you seen the new social networking site for past and present Peace Corps volunteers? Dubbed “Peace Corps Connect” (similar to the State Department’s Exchanges Connect which I discuss here), they use a Ning platform to create “the place online for people who value the Peace Corps to reconnect and work together toward a more peaceful and prosperous world.” The site already has over 2,000 members and features forums, notes, photos, groups and the capacity to search for people and projects around the world. Check it out.
