Young Government Leaders (YGL) Joins Combined Federal Campaign
Over the past year, I was honored to have served on the Executive Board of Young Government Leaders (YGL). In that time, YGL gained it’s official 501(c)(3) non-profit status. They just took another big step as a stable, thriving organization by joining the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of the National Capital Area. If you live in the Washington metropolitan region, that means you can contribute to YGL as a Federal employee by entering the YGL code #38096 on your agency’s CFC pledge card. Outside of Washington, contributors you can use the same code through the CFC website.
As an all-volunteer and not-for-profit organization, YGL directs all donations back to its community. Your donations will help YGL continue to serve as a voice for young public service professionals through leadership and scholarship opportunities, professional development and community service activities, social events, and mentorship programs.
Since being founded in 2003, YGL has grown to become a nationwide organization with seven chapters and more than 1,800 supporters in 30 agencies across Federal, state, and local government. Donate now and Become a Member of YGL!
